ABOUT BLAP:
Sometimes Beat battles and producer showcases can get tedious. But how would a general party crowd respond? BLAP (Beats Love Alcohol Party) was created to answer that question. Take four producers - a couple of known veterans and a few undiscovered talents, put them in front of a party and tell them to play their beats - its that simple. What separates BLAP from similar events is its casual nature. There is no stage and patrons are encouraged to dance. For the party goer unaware of the scene it becomes a new experience. For the industry pro, the laid back atmosphere provides a more comfortable arena to network. Created by Illmind, the producer for artists like 50 Cent, Redman, & The Jabbawockeez (ABDC's 1st season champs) who knows who will show up for this event series. Soon enough, everyone will know at BLAP - the MPC becomes the turntable.

"The BLAP event was a really dope experience for me. It was my first time in any type of beat showcase, but there was nothing but love, a comfortable vibe, and professionalism the whole way through. What I really enjoyed was the fact you had enough time to showcase a large amount of work, not just a couple of choice tracks. It gave all the producers a chance to really show their versatility. It's definitely a cool experience and I would recommend it to any producer, as there is no better feeling than having a crowd of club-goers bob their had to your tracks. "

"B.L.A.P. is a truly unique approach to the whole production showcase format. It's a very relaxed and uncompetitive environment where you can play tracks and network with industry professionals. Be prepared to rock for like 4 hours with dope material, though. The show is truly a test of endurance."

Michael Medium - Producer

"B.L.A.P. (Beats Love Alcohol Party) is an extraordinary experience that I would recommend to any up and coming producer for more exposure. There is no pressure of industry judges criticing your material. B.L.A.P. provides a enjoyable environment for producers and A&R's to connect more freely. Last Sounds in HD provides the icing on cake with free crisp drums to add to my collection!"

Jonyfraze - DJ - Producer
"Blap takes the concept of your typical beat showcase to the next level. The live party is the perfect atmosphere for producers to get instant feedback on their work from both their peers as well as listeners. It's only been two shows deep and the turn out has been phenonminal. The concept of blap is the begining of a new NYC staple. "
