BIG shout to Ron, Encite, & Naturel for making it happen... i'm also working on an instrumental mixtape with DJ Paradime, called ILLstrumentals... it will contain raw instrumentals straight out of my ASR-10, with NO overdubs! ... goodness! one of my favorite George Benson songs, The Changing World... probably one of the best musical pieces ever written, performed, and recorded... and if you are wondering, YEAH I SAMPLED FROM IT! what a joint...
here's a cool...
... medly someone on youtube put together of a joint I did for Little Brother on their Chittlin Circuit 1.5 mixtape... they blew up my spot and posted the album cover and original sample I used to make the beat... thanks a lot! nah i'm just playin'... it's not like the sample was obscure or anything... 5th Dimention was and still is one of the greatest bands in history... i pretty much raped a nice handful of their records (ex. see The Art Of Onemind)... anyway, check it out...

Acoustic Sounds' Chad Kassem's Big Score
Posted Sat Oct 13, 2007, 11:02 AM ET — By John Atkinson
One aspect of audio Shows that I love is the software pavilion, where audiophiles can browse new, old, are rare vinyl to their hearts' content. Acoustic Sounds’ Chad Kassem wanted to show me some of his new Analog Productions releases, but ended up telling me about his recent purchase of 30,000 sealed LPs—one and a half 53' trailer's worth—that had been in storage since 1981, the stash assembled by an eccentric collector long since passed away.

So the Banksy...
... gallery in NY this past Sunday was pretty sick! Now, just because I went to Banksy's debut NYC gallery this past Sunday doesnt mean i'm all into art now... there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.. in fact I have the up most respect for any form of art... but, Banksy.. wow... some of the most impressive and original work I have ever seen... all you art heads, throw me a late pass...
anyway, here are a few flicks that Maria took while we were there... the cool thing about this is that www.gothamist.com blogged about Banksy's event and referenced Maria's photos from her flickr page... nice!

Banksy, you're the man!
